Maps and Directions

For those traveling by car, there is an assigned free underground parking space (with lift access) just a short walk from the apartment.

Guests are provided with a pass for one car during their stay.

There is some on-street parking, charged according to time parked.

The city centre is more sensibly reached on foot, bicycle or by bus than by car, as city parking is expensive and often difficult to find.

A number of buses can be boarded nearby in Lauriston Place.

Buses 23 and 27 provide a regular service across the Royal Mile, and to the centre of Princes Street. From there, it is a short distance to the Church and the Reading Room. All parts of the city are well served by buses, all of which now accept contactless card payment.

Bus 35 goes to the Palace of Holyrood House, the Scottish Parliament and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Bus 47 goes past the Lyceum and Traverse theatres and the Usher Hall.

Waverley Station is on Princes Street, to the east of the National Gallery.

Waverley is the best station for getting to and from the apartment in Quartermile.

Haymarket Station is to the west of the city centre.

Edinburgh Airport is about half an hour’s drive from the city centre.

There is a tram from the airport to the city centre (use the Princes Street or St Andrew Square stop).

The 100 bus goes, with limited stops, between the airport and South St David’s Street at the east end of Princes Street near Waverley Station.

The bus and tram run every 10 minutes. Taxis are also available.
