Visit McNeil House in Edinburgh, and experience the welcome feeling of peace and tranquility that comes from being in beautiful surroundings within easy reach of our historic city and countryside.

There are times when we each need more personal space for private study and prayer thus enabling us to "Study thoroughly the letter and imbibe the spirit" (Science and Health with Key to The Scriptures,  by Mary Baker Eddy, page 495).

We can provide access to many of Mrs. Eddy's writings, including a variety of resource books and Christian Science periodicals.

Accommodation comprises a comfortable ensuite double room, as well as a small single room.  Members of the Christian Science Churches who no longer wish to keep house for themselves are welcome to apply as paying guests on a permanent basis. A number of charitable organisations exist which may be able to offer financial assistance with the cost of accommodation at McNeil House. As with all funds of this type, there can never be a guarantee that monies will be made available, as every case is considered separately on its merits. Home cooking is provided for our guests.
